HOLLY

A funky modern twist on traditional holly that’s really easy to paint. Get creative for festive faces with absolutely no prickly bits.

Step one, showing the start of creating leaf shapes beside each eye and above each eyebrows.

STEP 1

Using a thin brush and some grass green paint, draw three simple leaf shapes beside each eye and one above each eyebrow. Paint some points coming out the sides of each leaf as you go.

Step two, adding juicy red berries in the middle of leaves using classic red paint.

STEP 2

Now add three juicy red berries in the middle of each set of holly leaves. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Final step, adding white highlights inside red cherries to complete the Holly face paint.

STEP 3

Take a brush and some black paint and draw a line down the middle of each leaf, then outline them. Now outline the berries and finally, take a clean brush and white paint, draw a dot on each berry and add a line down each leaf. Merry Christmas!
